Both a one year certificate and an Associate of Applied Science degree are offered in Construction Technology. The certificate program is designed for those individuals who desire the basic entry level skills necessary for immediate employment in the construction industry. The two-year A.A.S. degree in Construction Technology is designed for those students who wish to gain entry level construction skills as well as have the capabilities to work in the areas of project management, supervision, estimating, and inspection.
The Construction Technology program uses the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) curricula which is standardized to meet the industry standards. NCCER maintains a National Registry which contains the training records of students more flexibility in their career path planning and ensures that their training accomplishments will be recognized wherever they go.
Students take a course in the construction Technology Program will automatically be entered into the National Register after completion of an approval form.
